We’ve covered the Surrey area since 1997 and have undertaken crash repairs and dent repairs for motorists across the entire county during this time. Our bodyshop welcomes customers from Epsom, Guildford, Reigate and all surrounding locations, and provides a full 10-year warranty on all car body repairs.
Below, we detail some of the key service benefits provided by our accident repair centre, which is easily located on Lincoln Road in Dorking.
WE PAY YOUR EXCESS
How it Works
Most insurance policies come with an insurance excess. This is the portion of the bill for car accident repairs that our Dorking, Epsom, Guildford and Reigate customers are responsible for, and which is paid direct to us upon completion of your insurance repair (conditions apply). If you have your car repaired with us and aren’t insured by one of our insurance partners, we can usually pay a large percentage, if not all, of your excess.
Each case and each insurer is different, so it is dealt with on a case-by-case basis. It is unusual if we can't help. For more information, please call us on 01306 743030. Our aim is to minimise any inconvenience to you – including the financial complications.
Remember it is your choice where you have your car repaired, not your insurer.
What is Kitemark Certification?
The Kitemark is a product and service certification mark that is owned and issued by the BSI (British Standards Institute). Dorking Accident Repair Centre Ltd holds the BSI Kitemark for Vehicle Body Repair. By choosing a BSI Kitemark repairer, you have total peace of mind knowing that your vehicle has been repaired to a BSI audited standard using the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended repair methods.
This ensures that your vehicle will perform to the manufacturer’s specification should you be unlucky enough to be involved in another accident in the future.
NON-FAULT ACCIDENT | CALL US FIRST
What are non-fault accident specialists?
If you let Dorking Accident Repair Centre Ltd handle your non-fault car accident repairs, we can source you a like-for-like vehicle. When the repairs are complete, you will receive cashback (conditions apply). All we need to have is third-party admitted liability.
It is a common misconception that when you have an accident, the first point of call should be your insurer. This does not have to be the case. You actually don't have to involve your insurer at all. We can liaise with accident management companies who deal directly with the third-party insurance company and, in most cases, will supply a like-for-like replacement vehicle FREE for the duration while car body repairs are being undertaken.
One of the key benefits our Dorking, Epsom, Guildford and Reigate customers receive when they use us for crash repairs and dent repairs is the fact that they don't have to pay an insurance excess first and wait to claim it back from their insurer.
Insurance claims can be notoriously lengthy to settle. If your claim has been logged and not settled by the third-party insurer at the time of your renewal, it will go against your no-claims at the point when you need to reinsure, despite the accident not being your fault.
Dorking Accident Repair Centre – Car Body Repairs
Having held Mercedes approval for over twenty years, we feel we are more qualified than most to give your customers an unparalleled experience in customer service and in the quality of our car accident repairs. We are BS 190125 BSI Kitemark repairers and we see that the repair and auditing processes are fully maintained to ensure a safe, quality repair.
We run a fleet of twenty courtesy vehicles, all of which are under three years old. We have three automatics and even have two vehicles with removable dual controls. We also run two LGV models including a Ford Transit and a Transit Connect.
Our accident repair centre in Dorking has Audatex and digital imaging software, meaning we are fully equipped to deal with in-house engineers. We are very experienced in providing estimates with accurate images before and during the repair process, and are confident that the images we provide ensure there’s very little need for supplementary estimates.
Contract crash repairs are another aspect that we pride ourselves on. We have little interest in seeing vehicles leave here on the back of salvage trucks. Dorking Accident Repair Centre Ltd is exceptional at liaising with policy holders and engineers, and working out a way of getting vehicles repaired so that you, as an insurer, retain your customers.
We also have the latest in equipment for plastic and dent repairs, and Miracle Pull technology that enable us to repair headlamps, bumpers and rear lamps, as well as doors, rear quarter panels and more, to help keep the cost of car body repairs down.

FLEET AND TRADE
Dorking Accident Repair Centre – Car Accident Repairs
We understand that fleet companies and trade customers in Dorking, Epsom, Guildford, Reigate and Surrey require a speedy transition between when a vehicle is damaged to the time the vehicle is back on the road. We have developed an express process with crash repairs for fleet and trade customers, ensuring vehicles are back in their possession and earning money in the shortest possible time.
From the moment the claim has been notified, we handle the rest of the process for you; from liaising with engineers and agreeing costs, organising signwriting and vehicle livery, and making sure your vehicle is returned to you ready for work.
We also run an end-of-lease repair program where we can inspect vehicles to make sure you don't get hit with extortionate end-of-term charges by your lease company.
We have the facilities in place to fully maintain your fleet at a fraction of the cost of a main dealer. We operate within Block Exemption 2003 guidelines, which dictate that we operate within the service procedures laid down by the manufacturer and supply dealership parts or recognised OEM parts only. By doing this, warranties on customer vehicles are unaffected.
Understanding that many companies self-insure, we can create a bespoke process for crash repairs and dent repairs to keep costs down to a minimum. Please see the services section under the “Insurance Companies” heading to discover our full service range.
YOUR CHOICE – NOT THE INSURER
Dorking Accident Repair Centre – Crash and Dent Repairs
Had an accident that's your fault? It's your choice where you come for car body repairs and car accident repairs, not your insurer.
Do I have to have my car repaired where my insurer tells me to?
It is a misconception that you have to have your car repaired by the repairer chosen by your insurance company. This is not the case! Your insurer insures your car. They cannot tell you where to have your car repaired. They can merely advise you, but it is your legal right to have your car repaired wherever you choose, not with the repairer chosen by your insurer.
We think there’s no better accident repair centre to choose than our own, which is based in Dorking and easily accessible from the Epsom, Guildford and Reigate areas.
All we need from you is a claim reference number. Once we have the reference number, we will organise everything for you, from liaising with the engineer/loss adjuster to agreeing costs with the insurer. Remember that it’s your legal right and your choice where you have your car repaired. In most cases, we will even be able to pay your excess for you.
